Welcome to Aide Chemists Training School (ATS) one of Ghana’s emerging health training institutions. At ATS, we pride ourselves in our ability to equip our students with the requisite skills and contemporary training programmes to offer professional services in the pharmaceutical industry. Aide Chemists Training School which was established in 2018 focuses on providing scientific, managerial, technological and professional disciplines to students to be eligible to compete in the job market. ATS has a proud culture of being innovative in addressing critical future problems in the pharmaceutical industry. We offer a wide range of courses under our short term programmes to students. We also attract talented scholars from Ghana and abroad to train our students to be perfect fits for the pharmaceutical industry.

Objectives of the Pharmacy Assistant (MCA) program

This program seeks to provide students with the requisite skills and the technical know-how to be able to work at community pharmacies, hospitals, chemical shops, clinics and other health related organizations conforming to standards and practices pertaining to the roles being assigned to them. Students will also be equipped with knowledge in the following disciplines in creative thinking, basics in information technology, emotional intelligence among others.

Duration

The course duration for this program is six (6) months. Three (3) months dedicated for tutelage and 3 months for practical training at a recognized pharmacy.

Admission Requirements

Admissions are opened four times in an academic year: January, April, July and October. Applicants must possess any of the following; Senior High School Certificate (SSCE/WASSCE), GCE O’ Level or anyone who has 3 years proven working experience in community pharmacy and has proof of ability to read and write.

Tuition

Applicants must sign up on the website by clicking on the signup button or pick a form at the front desk of the school as the first step of the application process. The fee is paid at a designated bank and proof of payment is attached to the filled application form on submission. Please note that you need a provisional approval from the school before you can go ahead to pay the fees.
